Why I'm a Habitual Reader:

I read anything I can get my hands on.

I have memories of reading late at night (using the streetlight shining through my window) long after my parents told me it was time to go to sleep. I developed the ability to stash the book under my pillow and flatten into a sleeping position in world-record time at the first creak of a floorboard or sign that my parents might be checking in on me. Although there’s less tension these days, I have never given up the habit of reading late into the night when I should be sleeping.
