Why I'm a Habitual Reader:
My Mom loved to read and shared her passion for books with me at a very early age. My first memories with my Mom include books - from the "Little Golden Books" she treated me to every week at the grocery store to the full set of Charlie Brown encyclopedias I received for my 4th birthday, books were an integral part of our lives everyday...for which I am so very thankful.
Today, I am a wife and Mom that loves to read and shares my opinions of the books I read by writing reviews. I enjoy reading a wide variety of genres, themes, styles and authors - discovering a new author or series is like finding buried treasure, because I know the discovery will provide many more hours of entertainment.
My idea of a wonderful date - a trip to our local Books-A-Million (which
is by far my favorite bookstore), getting a cup of Joe Muggs and spending
the next two hours cruising and reading.
Lately, my hubby and I have spent several wonderful, quite hours, cuddled
up in our chaise, reading separately - but very much together! Now that's
paradise for me!
