Why I'm a Habitual Reader:
Well, my handbag is big enough to fit three good sized books in it along with the normal purse-type items. I always have a few books going at once. Being a librarian, interesting new books pass by me all the time and so I always have lists going of books I want to read. The ones that I actually get around to reading are usually those that I’ve had recommended to me by an acquaintance or that have received a good review on NPR or in the NYT. Also, being a podcaster of free public domain audiobooks forces me to be a habitual reader – if I slack off my subscribers will email me and demand the next chapter!
