Why I'm a Habitual Reader:
In the sixth grade, I couldn't afford to go on a class field trip and was sent to the Carter G. Woodson school library for the day. The librarian gave me PGYMALION to read. I started reading the story and couldn't stop, so I checked the book out to finish it at home. The next day, I checked out another book.
From that day forward, I found myself reading for comfort, for company and for adventure. That's how and when I became a Habitual Reader.
